Does FengShui even exists?

That is a question, asked by many even till now. A FengShui master once commented with regards to this query. His reply was as follows:

“Let’s not debate about the existence of FengShui. We can do a test to this. Let’s try putting something that enhances the energy of the environment, like a fountain or a plant, at the bad sector of the house. And we’ll see what happens. Will you try? No?

So what will happen? If things are turning good, will you give credit to FengShui? You’ll probably say this is due to your hard work, your efforts. Whatever reasons you are giving it. But you won’t even want to try putting the fountain at the bad sector, would you? So, how would we know the difference? If you really don’t believe, why won’t you try it?”

I have to agree to the above. We won’t “risk” trying the bad stuffs, but we’ll probably not give credit to it if it turns good. That’s probably human.

So, what is FengShui?

Fengshui, an ancient Chinese system of aesthetics using the laws of both Heaven (Chinese astronomy) and Earth to help one improve life by receiving positive energy (also known as “qi”). Widely used to orient buildings, an auspicious site could be determined by reference to local features such as bodies of water, stars, or a compass. Using the informations from individual’s Bazi, a premise’s Fengshui is then understood on the suitability, and the physical conditions are further scrutinized by a professional on-site audit. XuanKong FengShui, on of the disciplines in FengShui practice, was popularized by Grandmaster Shen Zhu Ren during the Qing Dynasty. It is an integration of the principles of Yin Yang, interactions between five elements, the eight trigrams, the Lo Shu numbers, and the 24 Mountains, by using time, space and object to create an astrological chart to analyze positive auras and negative auras of a building. Demarcating a premise into a 9 palace grid, the various sectors of a premise is then identified and worked upon to bring up the positive energies, and lowering down the negative ones. This process, will then bring upon the occupants positive exposure to the energies that everyone always wanted.
